
Grizzlies Win West Division Title

With a 2-0 win over the Rockford RiverHawks Tuesday night at GMC Stadium, the Grizzlies clinched their first-ever Frontier League West Division Championship and a berth in the Frontier League playoffs!
The win improves the Grizzlies to a franchise-best 15 games over .500. They are now 49-34. They have now won five straight!
Jimmy Reiter provided the offense for the night. He got the Grizzlies on the board with a solo shot to lead off the bottom of the first inning-then added an RBI-single in the bottom of the seventh. Reiter was 2-4 on the night.
Scott Patterson went seven innings in the win. He struck out nine to improve to 8-3 this season. Dave Klahs pitched the final two innings to earn his eighth save of the year!
