Orlando Pride's Kerry Abello Named to July Best XI, Presented by Amazon Prime

ORLANDO, Fla. - The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) today announced the 11 players named to the Best XI of the Month, presented by Amazon Prime, for the month of July. Seven teams are represented in the league's Top 11, including Pride midfielder Kerry Abello.
Over the month of July, the Illinois native played 210 minutes and recorded a 78.82 percent passing accuracy. During that stretch, Abello was integral to the Pride's play on the wing, both on the offensive and defensive sides of the field.
The NWSL Best XI of the Month, presented by Amazon Prime, is selected by the NWSL Media Association, a collection of writers that cover the league on a consistent basis, and the NWSL's on-air broadcast talent. Awards for the month of July are based off performances in both regular season and NWSL x LIGA MX Femenil Summer Cup matches.
The Pride return to NWSL regular season on Friday, Aug. 23, facing the Houston Dash. The match is set to kick off at 8 p.m. ET at Shell Energy Stadium and will air on Prime Video. The Pride will head back into regular season play atop the NWSL standings and the lone unbeaten team in the League. Riding a 17-game unbeaten streak dating to last season, the Pride are looking to set an NWSL record with a result in the Space City.
