The season series is now tied at six games apiece, with four more games to go in New Orleans starting June 30.

Davis has now reached base in 20 straight games dating back to game May 28, and has been on safely in 20 of the 22 games he has played for Oklahoma since his promotion from Frisco on May 25. He has also hit home runs in three consecutive games, the second time this season a RedHawk has accomplished the feat. Nelson Cruz launched a home run in three straight from May 31 through June 2.
MAYBERRY AND ELLISON HEAT UP:
John Mayberry extended his hitting streak to eight games with a first inning single last night, while Jason Ellison has hit safely in seven straight courtesy a ninth inning double. It is Mayberry's longest hitting streak this season for Oklahoma, but his second longest this year overall. Mayberry hit safely in nine straight for Frisco from April 14 through April 25. Ellison's streak is his third longest this year. Ellison reach by a base hit in 12 straight games during April (4/09 through 4/21), and eight straight during May (5/13 through 5/22).
NASHVILLE AT A GLANCE:
The Sounds have lost nine of their last ten, including a 1-4 trip to Iowa where they played once Saturday and doubleheaders on Sunday and Monday... Vinny Rottino matched Andres Torres PCL-high hitting streak at 24 games with a single in game one of Nashville's doubleheader with Iowa yesterday, but went 0-2 with a walk in the second game. The Sounds catcher is hit .368 during the streak.

Texas had the night off and opens a series with Atlanta tonight in Arlington... Frisco beat Midland 12-8... Bakersfield fell to Inland Empire 4-2... Clinton had the night off due to the Midwest League All-Star break.
DOT-DOT-DOT:
Nelson Cruz missed his third straight game yesterday with a slight triceps strain. Cruz has hit safely in seven straight games, and has a 17-game on base streak dating back to May 28... Hank Blalock is expected to join the RedHawks on a rehab assignment while Oklahoma visits Nashville. Blalock has been on the Rangers disabled list since April 29 with a torn left hamstring, but also underwent carpal tunnel release surgery on May 30. He is attempting to move across the diamond as well. After playing 1,101 games at third and eight at second during his professional career, Blalock will return to the Majors as a first baseman...
