Today's Game: The OKC Dodgers and Omaha Storm Chasers meet for a 2:05 p.m. game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday, featuring pregame player autographs and postgame kids run the bases...The Dodgers lead the five-game series, 2-1, and have won three of their last four games overall. Each game of the current series has been decided by one or two runs.

Last Game: The Dodgers raced out to a six-run lead Saturday night before Omaha responded by scoring five unanswered runs, but OKC held on for a 7-6 win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. OKC led, 7-1, after three innings before Omaha scored five runs between the fifth and eighth innings to cut the Dodgers' lead to one. Omaha put the tying run on third base and go-ahead run on first base in the top of the ninth with two outs, but Jaime Schultz got Jorge Bonifacio to ground out to preserve the win and record his third save. OKC grabbed a 4-0 lead in the second inning. With one out and the bases loaded, Errol Robinson lined a bases-clearing double into right-center field to push the Dodgers into a 3-0 lead. Jake Peter followed with a RBI single. A solo homer by Omaha's Humberto Arteaga in the third cut OKC's lead to 4-1. In the bottom of the frame, Edwin Ríos belted a two-run homer into the Omaha bullpen in right-center field, and Blake Gailen added a RBI single for a 7-1 advantage. The Storm Chasers started chipping away at OKC's lead in the fifth, adding a run on a balk by Dennis Santana before Erick Mejia lined a RBI single into left-center field. Omaha scored a run on a wild pitch in the sixth inning to cut OKC's lead to three runs. The Storm Chasers tallied runs in both the seventh and eighth innings on sacrifice flies. Dodgers relief pitcher Joe Broussard (1-1) entered the game in the fifth inning and was credited with the win, allowing one run and two hits with three strikeouts over 1.1 innings. Omaha starting pitcher Scott Blewett (2-4) was charged with the loss.

Today's Probable Pitcher: Brock Stewart (0-3) makes his seventh start of 2019 seeking his first win of the season...In his last start May 13 at Round Rock, Stewart held the Express to two runs and four hits over 5.0 innings with three walks and a season-high six strikeouts. He did not factor into the decision of OKC's eventual 5-2 loss...In his last start, Stewart kept the Express 0-for-9 with runners on base and 0-for-5 with RISP to fit with his season-long trends. Overall he's holding opponents to a .193 clip with runners on base and .184 with RISP...Earlier this season, Stewart made his first career Major League Opening Day roster and appeared in three games for the LA Dodgers before being optioned to OKC April 7...Last season with OKC, Stewart tied with Daniel Corcino for the most starts (19) and ranked third on the team in strikeouts (80) and innings pitched (96.1), while posting a 2.99 ERA and 3-3 record...Stewart was selected by the Dodgers in the sixth round of the 2014 MLB Draft from Illinois State University and was named the Dodgers' 2016 Branch Rickey Minor League Pitcher of the Year...Today is Stewart's third start of the season against the Storm Chasers. He made his first two starts of 2019 against Omaha, allowing a combined three runs (two earned) and seven hits over 6.1 innings with five walks and five strikeouts. Today marks his sixth career start overall against Omaha (1-1, 3.12 ERA).

Against the Storm Chasers: 2019: 4-4 2018: 8-8 All-time: 161-150 At OKC: 84-73

The Dodgers are already meeting Omaha for their third series of the 2019 season and second in OKC...Including last night, six of the teams' eight matchups have been decided by one or two runs...Omaha won a three-game series at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark April 16-18. The teams split a weather-shortened two-game series at Werner Park April 9-10...So far in the 2019 series with the Storm Chasers, OKC's Edwin Ríos has 13 hits, nine RBI, eight runs scored, three home runs and three doubles. Last season against Omaha, he batted .410 in 16 games, leading the Dodgers with 25 hits, including a team-best eight doubles, 10 RBI, nine runs scored and two home runs...OKC has only won one season series against Omaha over the last eight seasons (11-3 in 2016) and is 1-5-2 in the season series since 2011.

Plate Prowess: The Dodgers have scored at least five runs in four straight games for the first time this season and have scored seven or more runs three times. They've totaled 36 runs while batting .301 (44x146) with five home runs and 21 extra-base hits, and they have gone 21-for-50 (.420) with runners in scoring position. Prior to this stretch, the Dodgers had totaled 32 runs over their previous eight games combined...OKC's offense is ramping up this month, scoring 90 runs and hitting 24 homers through the first 17 games of May. The Dodgers' 88 runs and 16 homers through April ranked last in the 16-team PCL.

Reks-n-Effect: Zach Reks doubled Saturday, as he has collected an extra-base hit in each of his first three Triple-A games with two homers, a double and three walks...At the time of his promotion to OKC, Reks led the Texas League in runs (29), home runs (9), slugging percentage (.584) and OPS (.978). He also ranked fourth in batting average (.310)...Reks currently leads all Dodgers minor leaguers in homers (11) and runs (32), and he is fifth with 26 RBI...Including games with Tulsa, Reks has swatted 11 homers this year after totaling just seven between 2017-18.

Perking Up: Cameron Perkins did not play Saturday, but on Friday he went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a stolen base, recording his team-leading 11th and 12th doubles of the season, as well as his fourth three-hit game...He's hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, going 16-for-42 (.381) with six doubles, two homers, seven RBI and seven runs scored. Prior to the stretch, Perkins started the season batting 12-for-61 (.197) through his first 20 games and since May 1 has raised his season batting average by 75 points.

Dinger Details: Edwin Ríos homered last night marking the team's 24th homer over the last 14 games...The Dodgers have hit at least one home run in eight of their last nine games (15 HR), including six games with two or more dingers. Ironically, the lone game during the stretch that the Dodgers were held without a homer was May 14 at Round Rock when OKC scored 15 runs, including 11 in one inning. It was the second-most runs ever scored by an OKC team (since 1998) without hitting a homer.

Shaggy 2 Dope: JT Chargois pitched a perfect ninth inning Friday night on just nine pitches and struck out two of the three batters he faced. He's been scored upon just twice in 12 outings this season and once over his last 11 games. In his last 10 outings, he's allowed just two runs in 14.1 innings. Opponents are 11-for-51 (.216) during the stretch with 19 strikeouts.

May Showers: The Dodgers have allowed a combined 17 runs over the last two games and have allowed 10 or more runs five times in May. OKC's 183 hits allowed in May are most in all of the Minors, while the team's 119 runs are second-most in the Minors, only behind PCL mate Reno (131 R). The team's ERA this month currently stands at 6.81, which also is only ahead of Reno (7.84) among all teams in the Minors. Since rejoining the PCL in 1998, OKC's highest monthly ERA on record is 6.83 in May 2007...Starting pitchers have lasted less than 5.0 innings in 11 of 17 games this month. The starters have combined for just 71.1 innings for an average of less than 4.1 IP per game.

Trending Up: Last night the Dodgers avoided consecutive losses for the first time since April 10, and as a result, the team has won three of four games for just the second time this season. With a win today, the Dodgers will clinch their first series victory of 2019.
