Drew Weeks connected on a go-ahead, pinch-hit home run in the eighth to give the Isotopes the lead. Weeks went deep on the first pitch of the at bat ... Pat Valaika finished the day 3-for-4 at the plate with a walk.
TOEING THE RUBBER: Isotopes starter Peter Lambert received a no-decision after allowing four runs over 7.0 innings on the hill. The right-hander threw 102 pitches, striking out four and walking none ... James Pazos earned the win after tossing a perfect eighth inning, while Jairo Diaz picked up his sixth save of the year, shutting down the Chihuahuas in the ninth.
