Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers and Memphis Redbirds wrap up their three-game series, as well as their season series, at 6:05 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark on a Chaparral Energy Family Sunday...The Dodgers have lost three straight games and look to avoid being swept for the second time this season...Despite the recent rut, the team is still 14-7 over the last 21 games.
Last Game: Lane Thomas hit three home runs for Memphis Saturday night as the Redbirds defeated the Dodgers, 9-4, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. The Redbirds took a 2-0 advantage in the second inning, but a RBI single by Drew Jackson cut Memphis' lead to 2-1 in the bottom of the inning. Edmundo Sosa led off the third inning with a solo homer. Later with two outs, Thomas homered past the Dodgers' bullpen in left-center field for a 4-1 Redbirds advantage. In the fourth, Edwin RÃos hit a solo homer out to left-center field that left the ballpark to cut Memphis' lead to 4-2. In the fifth, back-to-back RBI doubles by Sosa and John Nogowski extended Memphis' lead to 6-2. Thomas' second home run of the night came later in the inning - a two-run shot out to center field - extending the Redbirds' lead to 8-2. A RBI single by Connor Joe followed by a RBI double by Zach Reks pulled OKC within OKC 8-4. Thomas homered in a third straight at-bat in the seventh inning, leaving the ballpark with a shot out to left field. Memphis starting pitcher Genesis Cabrera (4-4) picked up the win, allowing four runs and eight hits over 6.0 innings with one walk and nine strikeouts. Dennis Santana (4-6) was charged with the loss, allowing eight runs (seven earned) and seven hits in 5.0 innings with two walks, six strikeouts and a career-high three homers.
Today's Probable Pitcher: Top Dodgers pitching prospect Dustin May (2-0) makes his fifth start with OKC, although tonight will be his Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark debut...May earned the win in his last start July 23 in Nashville, pitching 6.0 shutout innings. He limited Nashville to three hits and one walk with four strikeouts, retiring 17 of 21 batters faced overall. Only two Sounds reached scoring position and none advanced to third base...Over his first four starts with OKC, May has posted a 2.53 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and .225 BAA...May appeared in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game July 7 in Cleveland and pitched the third inning, inducing three groundouts on eight pitches...At the time of his promotion to OKC, May was tied for the Texas League lead with 15 starts, ranked second in strikeouts (86), fourth in WHIP (1.15), fourth in BAA (.237) and sixth in ERA (3.74)...He was named Texas League Player of the Week after his June 22 start against Amarillo, which included 7.0 shutout innings and a career-high 14 K's...He began the season tabbed as the Dodgers No. 4 prospect and top pitching prospect by Baseball America...May was selected by the Dodgers in the third round of the 2016 MLB Draft out of Northwest High School in Justin, Texas...Tonight is his second career start against the Redbirds. On July 11 at AutoZone Park, May allowed four runs (three earned) and four hits over 5.0 innings with three walks and three strikeouts during a no decision.

The season series has been controlled by the road team so far, going 13-2 and winning nine of the last 10...The teams have been nearly even offensively, with Memphis owning a 91-90 edge in runs and OKC owning a 137-135 advantage in hits. Connor Joe leads OKC with 16 hits, while Zach Reks has a team-leading 17 RBI in the series. Edwin RÃos has hit six of his 21 homers this season against Memphis and Reks has homered four times...The Redbirds have won six straight games in Bricktown, and their six wins are the most they've ever captured in one season in OKC. Memphis has also ensured a winning record at OKC in back-to-back seasons for the first time in the teams' 22-year history...The Dodgers finished 7-1 at AutoZone Park this season, clinching a winning record at the venue for the seventh time in eight seasons and setting a new team record for most wins in one season at Memphis...During Memphis' six-game win streak at The Brick, the Redbirds have batted .332 with 16 homers and 41 XBH while outscoring OKC, 57-29.
Luxury Tax: Reigning PCL Player of the Week Gavin Lux has reached base safely in each of his first 22 Triple-A games and hit safely in 21 of those games...Since joining OKC June 27, Lux is batting .479 (45x94) with a .550 OBP, .926 SLG and 1.476 OPS. The shortstop has 14 multi-hit games, 22 extra-base hits, 27 RBI and 32 runs scored. During that time span, Lux's OPS, AVG, OBP, hits and runs scored are either the most or tied for the most among all players in the domestic Minors or Majors, while his SLG ranks second...The 21-year-old also leads Dodgers full-season minor leaguers with a .357 AVG and 126 hits...He enters tonight with five straight multi-hit games (10x22) and two-plus hits in eight of his last 10 games (22x45).
Dinger Details: Edwin RÃos hit his team-leading 21st homer Saturday, as OKC has now homered in 18 of the last 19 games, clubbing a total of 47 homers. The Dodgers have hit the second-most homers in all of professional baseball in July (54), trailing only fellow PCL team Las Vegas (57). This month included a streak of 16 consecutive games with a home run July 5-24 - the second-longest in team history since OKC rejoined the PCL in 1998 and longest since 1999. During the streak, the Dodgers hit an incredible 43 homers, including 26 over the final six games...The Dodgers have recorded multi-homer outings in 10 of the last 12 games (38 HR), going deep three or more times in six of the last nine games and in seven of the last 11 games.
CoJo's Bite: Connor Joe went 2-for-5 Saturday with a double, RBI and run scored. Joe has now hit safely in seven straight games, going 11-for-31 with nine RBI. He's also hit safely in 10 of the last 11 games (15x46)...Over the last 27 games, Joe is batting .360 (36x100) with eight homers, 10 doubles, a triple, 29 RBI, 31 runs scored and 23 walks. Since June 27, Joe leads the PCL with 23 walks, tied for first with 29 RBI, ranks second with 31 runs scored, tied for second with 10 doubles, third with a .485 OBP and fourth with 19 extra-base hits.
Reks in Effect: Zach Reks tallied another RBI double last night, and he's now 11-for-28 (.392) with five multi-hit games, three homers, four doubles and 12 RBI over his last seven starts...Since joining OKC May 16, Reks ranks third in the PCL with 58 RBI and tied for seventh with 16 homers and 10th with 136 total bases. He leads all Dodgers minor leaguers with 25 total home runs and 80 total RBI.
Home-Less: The Dodgers have started a home series in a 0-2 hole fifth time this season. The team is 20-29 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark and has the second-fewest home wins in the league. The 29 losses have matched the team's total from all of 2018...The Dodgers have finished a season with a losing home record just twice since rejoining the PCL in 1998 and not since going 34-36 in OKC during the 2003 season...The Dodgers have a +41 run differential on the road this season, but a -73 run differential at home...The Dodgers have allowed at least eight runs in four straight home games and their 6.31 ERA at home is the fourth-highest among the 120 full-season Minor League teams.
Bad Memory Lane: Memphis' Lane Thomas homered three times Saturday night, becoming the first OKC opponent to do that since Iowa's Bryan LaHair on July 31, 2010 in OKC...Thomas has six hits, four homers and eight RBI over his last seven at-bats of the current series. Against OKC, he's 14-for-his-last-26 with seven homers and 21 RBI. Against all other PCL opponents this season, Thomas is batting .244 with three homers and 22 RBI.
Around the Horn: DJ Peters singled Saturday and has now reached base in each of his first 27 Triple-A games, slashing .337/.461/.703 and owns the longest current on-base streak in the PCL. Including his time with Double-A Tulsa, he's reached base in 40 straight games...Over the 16 games following the All-Star Break, the Dodgers are batting .314 with a PCL-leading 139 runs while their 43 home runs and .618 SLG each ranks second...Over the last 11 games against opposing starting pitchers, the Dodgers are batting .373 (85x228) with 78 runs, 26 home runs, 45 extra-base hits and 31 walks over just 49.0 innings...Kyle Garlick is batting .396 (21x53) with 13 extra-base hits, six home runs, 11 RBI and 15 runs scored over 16 games since returning to OKC...Last night OKC's pitching staff collected its 50th double-digit strikeout game of the season and 28th game with 12 or more strikeouts.
