Reno Aces News Release
Fresno, Calif. - For the first time since the 2012 campaign, the Reno Aces have swept two consecutive series. With a 10-6 victory tonight in Fresno, the Aces have now won six consecutive games and will return to Greater Nevada Field Tuesday night with a record of 48-59. Ildemaro Vargas has taken advantage of Triple-A pitching since his return to the Aces lineup last week. Tonight, Vargas had four singles and a double to finish 5-for-6 and is 23-for-52 in 2019 with Reno. Travis Snider and Andy Young both homered in Reno's 10-6 victory while Bradin Hagens allowed just one run in four innings of work out of the bullpen to earn the victory. Reno will have Monday off and welcome the Iowa Cubs to Northern Nevada Tuesday night. First pitch against the I-Cubs is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. For tickets and more information visit renoaces.com or call 775-334-7000.

Notes & Information
Hit King: Ildemaro Vargas cemented himself in the Aces history books as the all-time hit king earlier this season. Tonight, Vargas joined Yasmany Tomas (May 20 vs. TAC) and Domingo Leyba (6/29 @ LV) as the only Aces players to record five hits in a single contest this season. The speedy infielder has accomplished this feat once before - July 19, 2018 vs. Tacoma.
Sweep: For the first time since 2012, the Reno Aces have completed back-to-back series sweeps. The Aces swept the Tacoma Rainiers in a three-game series in Northern Nevada July 23-25 prior to sweeping the Grizzlies July 26-28. The last time Reno completed back-to-back series sweeps was May 4-7, 2012 vs. Tacoma and May 8-11 in Memphis.
