Today's Game: The Oklahoma City Dodgers try to take the lead in their four-game series against the Omaha Storm Chasers when they meet for the third time in their current series at 7:05 p.m. at Werner Park. The series is tied, 1-1.
Last Game: Jack Lopez hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning, sending Omaha to a 1-0 win over the Dodgers Tuesday night at Werner Park. The teams combined for just one run and 13 hits, with only one hit going for extra bases. Lopez came up next and hit a fly ball to shallow right field that was caught slightly in foul territory by Alex Verdugo. Dewees tagged and headed home, and Verdugo's throw sailed to the screen behind home plate on the game-ending play. Dodgers starting pitcher Daniel Corcino lasted seven innings for a second consecutive start and did not allow a run, holding Omaha to two singles. He allowed three walks to go along with four strikeouts and only had one runner advance as far as third base. The Dodgers were tied up by Omaha starting pitcher Jonathan Dziedzic through six innings.
