*Boxing Day:* It may describe the game tonight, as well as being the day after Christmas as the Tulsa Oilers host the Wichita Thunder tonight.

*Records: *Oilers are 8-13-3 with 19 points in fourth place in the Northeast Division.

Wichita is 7-17-2 for 16 points in fourth place in the Northwest Division.

*Season Series: *This is the fifth of 11 meetings between these two teams, with each team having won two of the previous four games. Wichita won the most recent game, a 4-3 shootout win at Tulsa on November 28^th . The Oilers record is 2-1-1 and Wichita is 2-2-0 in the head to head match up.

* *

*Recent Action: *The Oilers defeated Oklahoma City last night, 3-2 in the annual Christmas Night game in Oklahoma City. Wichita is coming off an 8-3 loss at Mississippi on Tuesday.

*Nice Return*: Jake Riddle returned to the Oilers line-up last night after missing 11 games from a knee injured suffered November 11^th . He responded with the game winning goal and an assist.

*Mirror Performance:* Mike Mullen also scored a goal and assist last night. He assisted on Riddle's goal and Riddle assisted on Mullen's goal.

*Also Back: *Along with Riddle's return, the Oilers welcomed back defenseman Kevin Hansen. He had missed the last three games with a concussion.

*Catching Up: *With only 24 games played, the Oilers have played the fewest games in the Central Hockey League. That will be changing soon, as last night began a stretch of seven games in 10 days for the Oilers.

*Next Up: *The Oilers continue a three game homestand tomorrow evening at 7:35 when they host the Mississippi RiverKings. Wichita returns home tomorrow night and will face the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees.
