WINDSOR, CO- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will face off with the Colorado Eagles tonight at the Budweiser Events Center, in a match-up of two of the hottest teams in the league. Game time is 8:05pm CST.

The Bucks enter this weekend with a four-point lead in the Southeast Division, with a 18-7-1 record, good enough for 37 points. Laredo trails Odessa by five points for the top spot in the Southern Conference (42 to 37).
Laredo has played five straight one-goal games, going 2-2-1 in that span (0-2-1 on the road).
The Bucks were shutout 1-0 Monday night in Rio Grande Valley, as Killer Bees goaltender Christian Boucher set aside all 41 Laredo shots.
Jeff Bes leads the CHL in scoring entering tonight with 43 points (10-33=43), while Darryl Smith leads all rookies in scoring with 37 points (19-18=33).
The match-up between the Bucks and Eagles tonight pits the two teams that have combined to win four of the last five President's Cup Championships.
The Eagles have the best record in the CHL at 21-4-1 (43pts), and post an outstanding 11-2-1 home record.
As usual Greg Pankewicz leads Colorado in scoring with 37 points (19-18=37), with Riley Nelson picking up 35 points (10-25=35).
The Eagles are coming off of a perfect 3-0 road trip, where they beat New Mexico 4-3 and 2-1, before topping Amarillo 5-2.
Friday's game is the only meeting of the season between the Bucks and Eagles.

*Open Skating At LEC*
The Laredo Entertainment Center will host three days of open community skating during the holiday's. "Winter Wonderland" will be open to the public on Monday December 22 from 12pm-6pm, Monday December 29, and Tuesday December 30 from 1-7pm.
Everyone is welcome, and the cost is $5 an hour, which includes skate rental. The LEC will open some Concession areas during the skating.
