WINDSOR, CO- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League fell to the Colorado Eagles 6-4 Friday night, in front of a sell-out crowd of 5,239 fans at the Budweiser Events Center. The loss was the second straight for the Bucks, who fall to 18-8-1 (37pts). Laredo still leads the Southeast Division by two points over Texas.
Laredo trailed 5-1 going into the third period, but mounted a furious comeback. The Bucks scored three straight third period goals to pull to with-in 5-4 with 8:38 left in the game.
Rick Kozak scored his ninth goal of the season from the right circle to pull the Bucks to with-in 5-2 just 5:47 into the third.
Erick Lizon then slammed home a shot from the left circle to make it 5-3 a little over three minutes later at the 8:21 mark. The strike was Lizon's first of the year.
Jason Dixon pulled the Bucks (5-5-1 on the road) to with-in one at 5-4, with 8:38 left in the game. Dixon took a feed from Alex Goupil right in front of the Eagles net and jammed home his seventh of the year.
The Bucks gave up an empty net goal to Greg Pankewicz with 25 seconds left to make it 6-4 Colorado.
The Bucks have now played six straight one-goal games, going 2-3-1 during that span, including 0-3-1 on the road.

Laredo has now given up the first goal in 12 of their 27 games thus far this season.

The Bucks would get on the board with 6:16 left in the second period, when Igor Agarunov sent in a rebound right in front of the Eagles net. The tally was Agarunov's fifth of the year.
Colorado would striek again to make it 4-1, as Greg Pankeicz sent a rebound from the corner into an empty Laredo net. Centomo came out to the circle to play the puck, giving Pankewicz the open path.
The Eagles add one more with just 26 seconds left in the second. Riley Nelson skated to the high slot and ripped a shot past Centomo to make it 5-1 Colorado. The strike was Nelson's 11th of the year.
