Oil Kings Sign Bertolucci

Edmonton, AB - The 2012 WHL Champion Edmonton Oil Kings are pleased to announce that they have signed forward Luke Bertolucci to a standard Western Hockey League player agreement. Last season, Bertolucci totalled 3 goals and 15 assists in 47 games with the Trail Smoke Eaters of the BCHL.

Bertolucci is a 5'9, 175 pound winger who hails from Montrose, BC. The Oil Kings selected Bertolucci with the 200th pick overall in the 10th round of the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft. Bertolucci participated in the 2011 Canada Winter Games with the gold medal winning Team BC. The same Team BC which was captained by Oil Kings rookie of the year Curtis Lazar and included Oil Kings goaltender Tristan Jarry.

Bertolucci will be among the players who report for Oil Kings Main Training Camp set for August 23rd to 26th at the Jubilee Recreation Centre in Fort Saskatchewan.
