Oil Kings Reassign Ben Wright

Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Oil Kings have reassigned 2005-born forward Ben Wright to the Shawnigan Lake School U18 Prep Team (CSSHL), the team announced today.

Wright, a Mill Bay, BC product, was selected by the Oil Kings in the 10th round, 218th-overall, of the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound forward suited up in two pre-season games with the Oil Kings this year.

During the 2019-20 season, Wright amassed 47 points (22G, 25A) and 14 penalty minutes in 30 games with the Shawnigan Lake School U15 Prep team.

Edmonton Oil Kings Roster

The Oil Kings open their regular season on Friday, October 1 when they welcome the Red Deer Rebels to Rogers Place at 7:00 P.M.
