LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Wednesday that 2005-born forward Cole Miller has returned home to Edmonton for personal reasons.
Miller, 16, was originally selected by the Hurricanes in the first round (16th overall) in the 2020 WHL Prospects Draft. The 6'4, 174-pound forward appeared in 11 games with the 'Canes during the 2020-2021 season collecting one goal and a minus-2 rating. He was held pointless in four exhibition games this season.
There will be no further comment from the Lethbridge Hurricanes while the club requests that Miller's privacy be respected.
