Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats are ready to safely welcome you back to the Brandt Centre this Saturday for the home opener at 1 p.m. We are following the Regina Exhibition Association Limited's lead to align with the current public health orders - including screening and masking requirements.

The entry process has four steps:

Put on a mask before entering

Complete proof of immunization or negative test screening

Have your bag checked (remember: no outside food or drink)

Scan your digital or printed ticket

MASK MANDATE

A face mask is required in all areas of the facility, except when eating or drinking. Children under 2 are not required to wear a mask.

PROOF OF IMMUNIZATION

FULLY-VACCINATED FANS

Individuals age 12 and over: must verify they have received two doses of Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccines (or a mixture of two).

Individuals 18 and older: must also present photo ID matching the name on the vaccination record.

ACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTATION

Wallet cards received at time of immunization

A printed copy of your MySaskHealthRecord (MSHR) vaccine certificate (with or without a QR code*)

A screenshot of your MSHR vaccine certificate (with or without a QR code*) saved to a device

A COVID-19 vaccine printout from Saskatchewan Health Authority Public Health

Armed Forces record and eligible out of province or country documents

*Please note, the QR Codes in vaccine records from MSHR were temporarily removed on Friday, September 24 because of potential privacy concerns. The issue has been resolved and QR codes are again available in MSHR. Any QR codes that were saved/printed or captured prior to today should be deleted or destroyed as they have been made invalid and new QR codes must be retrieved from your MSHR account.

SINGLE DOSES OR UNVACCINATED ATTENDEES

Anyone not meeting ‚ the ‚ vaccination requirement (single dose, medical or personal choice) will be required to provide proof of a negative test within the last 72 hours.

Rapid or PCR tests will only be accepted if completed by a certified clinic and documentation displays a fans name as matched by photo ID, as well as the date of collection and results of the test.

Due to high demand at SHA testing sites, fans are encouraged to seek private options for a test to ensure a result in time.

REMINDER: No personal medical information will be retained or stored during the screening process.

GET VERIFIED EARLY WITH PRE-SCREENING

The Brandt Centre box office will be open at 10 a.m. on Saturday for early screening in advance to speed up entry. Bring your documentation and receive a wristband to by-pass the screening line. Brandt Centre doors open at 12 p.m., with puck drop scheduled for 1 p.m.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE

We encourage fans to arrive early on Saturday as we adjust to the new process. We thank everyone in advance for their understanding and patience.
