INDIANAPOLIS - Adam Frazier matched his career high with four hits and Josh Bell homered as the Indians outslugged Pawtucket, 10-6, on Wednesday at Victory Field.

Willy Garcia extended his hitting streak to 12 games with a double in the second inning.

Pawtucket jumped out to an early lead with three runs in the first inning. Ryan LaMarre doubled to open the game before the visitors used a walk and two more hits to do their damage in the frame.

The Tribe answered with a run in the home half on an RBI knock by Adam Frazier, but made a bigger splash in the next inning with a four-run second. Five hits, including doubles by Willy Garcia and Jacob Stallings, helped the Indians to a 5-3 lead.

The advantage was short-lived, however, as Bryce Brentz cut the deficit in half with an RBI single and Ali Solis leveled the scales in the fourth on a sac fly.

Brentz homered to center field in the seventh to put Pawtucket back in front.

The Indians responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame. Josh Bell belted a monster home run into the trees in center to lead off the inning and tie the game before Gift Ngoepe tripled in two runs to put the Tribe ahead, 8-6.

Two more runs came across for the Tribe in the eighth to make the score 10-6, where it would remain as Jorge Rondon came on to work a clean ninth.

The series finale is set for Thursday at 7:05 back at Victory Field.
