Today's Game

Tonight, the Bisons take on the Durham Bulls in the finale of a three-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). Tonight's contest also wraps up an eight-game homestand for the Herd, during which it is 3-4 thus far. Buffalo is off on Thursday and will travel to Lehigh Valley for a four-game in three-day series starting Friday.

Last Game (BUF 5, DUR 1)

LHP Wade LeBlanc struck out 11 batters in eight innings to pick up his seventh win. It was the most strikeouts for a Herd starter since LHP Daniel Norris struck out 13 on August 15, 2014 in Lehigh Valley. INF Matt Dominguez hit the club's first grand slam of the year.

vs. Durham (4-2)

The Bisons have clinched the season-series victory over the Bulls with tonight's contest the final matchup between the clubs this year. It's the team's first season series win over the Bulls since 2006 (5-3). Buffalo won a four-game series, 3-1, at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, May 9-12.

Roberto Hernandez

RHP Roberto Hernandez has not earned a decision in four consecutive starts. The veteran allowed three runs on three hits in 4.2 innings of work last Thursday against Rochester. Hernandez's ERA is a full run better at home (4.11) than on the road (5.17). Six of his previous nine starts this year have come at Coca-Cola Field.

Matt Dominguez

INF Matt Dominguez had a sacrifice fly and a grand slam last night, becoming the second Bisons' player to drive in five runs in a game this year. DH Jesus Montero accomplished the feat on April 10 in Pawtucket. Dominguez and Montero are now tied for the team lead with 34 RBI.

Dalton Pompey

OF Dalton Pompey has hit in 24 of his last 28 games. Since May 8, he has averaged .343 (37-108) with six doubles, a home run, 12 RBI, seven stolen bases and 15 runs scored.

Roster Moves

LHP Aaron Loup has been optioned by Toronto after seven games and a 9.00 ERA with the Blue Jays (4.0IP). C Luis Hurtado has also been activated. The catcher appeared in 129 games in the Blue Jays minor league system from 2006-2012. The Blue Jays recalled INF Andy Burns and LHP Chad Girodo from the Bisons.

Bisons Bits

With his outing last night, LHP Wade LeBlanc now leads the IL in ERA (1.51) and innings pitched (83.2) is tied for the league-lead in wins (7) and is 3rd in strikeouts (81)...As a team, the Bisons have scored the exact number of runs (245) as they have allowed.

Blue Jays Update

The Blue Jays (36-31) blew out the Phillies on Tuesday, 11-3. 3B Josh Donaldson had three hits, including a grand slam, and drove in five. Former Bisons CF Kevin Pillar and RF Ezequiel Carrera also homered in the win. RHP Marcus Stroman allowed just two runs in seven innings in his sixth win of the season. Toronto is in Philadelphia tonight at 7:05 p.m.
