OF Todd Cunningham released by Chicago White Sox organization

On Sunday, May 13th after the Chicago White Sox game, the team optioned INF Jose Rondon to the Knights. Rondon appeared in six games with the White Sox and hit .231 (3-for-13) over that stretch. He was promoted to the White Sox on Saturday, May 5th. With the Knights, he is hitting .286 (28-for-98) with 15 runs scored, four doubles, two triples, four home runs, and 10 RBIs in 24 games this season.

To make room for Rondon in Charlotte, OF Todd Cunningham was released by the White Sox organization today. Cunningham hit .192 (5-for-26) with three runs scored and two RBIs in nine games with the Knights. He was acquired by the Chicago White Sox on April 27 in a trade with the Pittsburgh Pirates and assigned to the Knights.
