Coming off back-to-back sweeps of IL-North rivals, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs open up a six-game road trip against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and Syracuse.

PITCHING MATCHUP

Drew Anderson makes his first start of the year today for Lehigh Valley. Nestor Cortes takes the ball for the RailRiders. Anderson, who has spent the first six weeks of the season on the DL with a forearm strain, makes his season debut tonight at PNC Field. The 2017 Eastern League All-Star made one regular season start for the IronPigs in 2017, allowing just one run in 6 2/3 innings. Cortes is making his second start of the season against the IronPigs. Last time out, the Pigs chased Cortes after two innings tagging him for five runs.

LAST GAME

It was another pitcher's duel at Coca-Cola Park on Saturday night. After a 1 hour, 45 minute rain delay the Pigs and Bisons traded zeros through the first 5 1/2 innings. Cole Irvin (3-1) tossed seven scoreless innings in the Pigs' 1-0 win. Click here to read the full recap.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The Pigs and RailRiders meet for their third series of the 2018 season.

The two teams last met in April at Coca-Cola Park. The Pigs swept their IL rival including a double-header sweep to wrap up the series.

The Pigs have won 4 of 6 against their rivals this season, but the RailRiders lead the all-time series 91-81. Last season, the Pigs won the Iron Rail Rivalry season series for the third time, taking 11 of 18 contests.

Next Week at Coca-Cola Park

The Pigs return home Monday night for a four-game series against IL North opponent Rochester.
