Nuts/Captains Postponed by Field Conditions, Doubleheader Saturday

EASTLAKE, OH - For a fourth straight series to open the season, the Lansing Lugnuts will play a doubleheader.
The scheduled Wednesday night game at Classic Park between the Lugnuts (5-11) and the Lake County Captains (7-9) was postponed due to field conditions brought up about by the cold temperatures, with a 1 p.m. Saturday twinbill scheduled to make up the game.
The Lugnuts previously played doubleheaders on April 9 at home vs. Lake County, April 14 at West Michigan and April 23 at home vs. Fort Wayne.
The six-game series between the Athletics' and Guardians' High-A affiliates will resume on Thursday at 6:35 p.m.
