Aberdeen IronBirds News Release
Aberdeen, Md. - Northern Safety Co., Inc. announced today that it will partner with the Aberdeen IronBirds to say "Thank You" to local first responders during four of the Class-A minor league baseball team's games this summer at Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium.
Northern Safety, a Utica, N.Y.-based national distributor of top quality safety and industrial supplies, will join the IronBirds to honor Police, Fire, EMS and Military servicemembers during four separate IronBirds games. First responders will be recognized throughout the games with a pre-game ceremony, honorary first pitch, national anthem and more. Northern Safety will also be supporting local first responders with gift bags each night.
"In appreciation of their service to our country and their communities, Northern Safety couldn't be happier to help ensure a fun night for first responders at the ballpark," said Sal Longo, founder and CEO of Northern Safety & Industrial. "At Northern Safety, we're committed to delivering a message of safety and no one does that better every day than our first responders."
Police, Fire, EMS and Military servicemembers will be honored at four First Responder Nights this summer, including:
July 10 - Police (vs. Staten Island Yankees)
July 17 - Fire (vs. Hudson Valley Renegades)
July 24 - EMS (vs. Williamsport Crosscutters)
August 6 - Military (vs. Tri-City ValleyCats)
