North Defeats South in Boy's All-Star Game

Austin, TX - The North All Stars defeated the South 107-94 in the 2011 Dennis Johnson Memorial Boy' High School All Star Game Saturday, at Cedar Park Center. Hendrickson's Jalen Harris led the North in scoring with 14 points and LBJ's Robert Lee led the south and all scorers with 15 points.

The North began the game on fire and outscored the South 9-1 in the opening minutes. However, the South picked up momentum on the tough defensive play by the Bastrop Duo of Jordan Roach and Josiah Monroe. The South Continued their charge in the second quarter but the North managed to maintain the lead thanks to 11 first half points by Leander's Mark Nwakamma. The North led the South 51-50 at halftime.

The South managed to pull ahead of the North in the third quarter. Ted Jackson scored seven key points in the third quarter that helped the South gain a two-point advantage over the North. The South led the North 77-75 at the end of the third quarter. The North was able to seal the victory in the fourth quarter and defeated the South 107-94.
