INDIANAPOLIS - Chad Kuhl fired six scoreless innings, but the Indianapolis Indians were undone by a late Norfolk rally on Saturday at Victory Field.

Kuhl allowed just two hits while striking out three. His outing extended the growing dominance of Indians starters, who have now allowed just one run in their last 30 innings combined.

Norfolk (9-14) has managed just one run in 24 innings against the Tribe's starters this season, but now leads the season series 3-1.

The Indians (11-10) got their one run in the sixth thanks to a pair of base hits ahead of a sacrifice fly to left from Jung Ho Kang.

The Tides mounted a five-run rally in the ninth to reverse the lead. Norfolk tallied our hits and three walks in the frame as Trey Haley (0-2) was saddled with the loss. Pedro Beato (2-1) received the win for working a scoreless inning.

The two teams resume play tomorrow at 1:35 p.m. in the series finale. This story was not subject to the approval of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues or its clubs.
