CHICAGO, IL - Jordan Nolan notched his second multi-goal game of the season and Jordan Kyrou posted another two-point performance, as the San Antonio Rampage (9-14-0) earned a 5-3 win over the Chicago Wolves (10-8-3) on Saturday night at Allstate Arena.

Three former Wolves- Kyrou, Mackenzie MacEachern, and Jake Walman- scored goals against their former team, and former Wolf Jordan Binnington made 19 saves to earn his seventh win of the season.

San Antonio won for the sixth time in eight games, while the Wolves are 0-3-1 in their past four.

The Wolves opened the scoring at 3:47 of the first period when a Jake Bischoff shot hit the post and laid in the crease behind Binnington. Keegan Kolesar tapped in the rebound for his fourth goal of the season and a 1-0 Chicago lead.

The Rampage answered quickly at 5:00 of the first, with Kyrou deflecting a Jakub Jerabek point shot through the pads of Chicago goaltender Oscar Dansk to tie the game 1-1 with his fourth of the season. Kyrou has a goal and an assist in three straight games, and four multipoint games in his last six outings.

The Rampage took their first lead at 2:23 of the second period when MacEachern redirected a Tyler Wotherspoon point shot behind Dansk for his fourth goal of the season, and second in as many nights. Just 1:20 later, the Rampage made it 3-1 when Chris Thorburn found Nolan between the hash marks for Nolan's first goal of the game.

At 8:12 of the second, Chicago drew within a goal when Tomas Hyka scored off a set face-off play. Gage Quinney won the draw forward and slid a pass into the crease where Hyka was driving to the net for his second goal of the season to make it 3-2. Jake Walman restored the two-goal cushion at 16:57 of the second with a right point shot through a screen and over Dansk's shoulder for his first goal of the season and a 4-2 Rampage lead.

The Wolves again pulled within a goal at 11:50 of the third period when rookie Erik Brannstrom beat Binnington for his fourth goal of the season, a power play marker from the right circle to make it 4-3. Only 2:04 later, the Rampage added another insurance goal as Nolan beat Dansk to the blocker side off of a 2-on-1 rush, his second goal of the game and sixth of the season.

Nolan has six goals and 12 points in his last ten games.

The victory for the Rampage was their second in 13 games this season in which they have surrendered the first goal. They improved to 3-8-0 on the road this season.

The Rampage are in action Sunday afternoon when they visit the Rockford IceHogs at BMO Harris Bank Center for a 4 p.m. CT puck-drop. The game is available on The Ticket 760AM and on AHLTV.
