Condors Host Soccer Ball Giveaway Tonight

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors host Soccer Ball Giveaway tonight at 7 p.m. against the Manitoba Moose. Great seats start at just $12 ($13 day of game) and can be purchased or at the Rabobank Arena box office (opens at noon)

PROMOTION DETAILS: The first 2,000 fans, 17 and under, will take home a Condors themed soccer ball presented by Univision and Sunny 105.3 FM.

Please allow extra time for arrival as Rabobank Arena has installed metal detectors at all entrances. Doors open at 6 p.m. (5:45 p.m. for Condors365 Members).

TONIGHT

The Bakersfield Condors host the first of four season matchups with the Manitoba Moose tonight. Bakersfield went 2-1-1-0 against the Moose a season ago and was 1-0-1-0 at Rabobank Arena.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT

Bakersfield fell 3-2 to the Ontario Reign at the team's annual Field Trip Day game on Thursday. RW David Gust opened the scoring in the second while RW Mitch Callahan scored in the third, but it was not enough.

In a physical affair with San Diego last night, the Moose fell, 2-1. The teams combined for 108 penalty minutes. LW Jansen Harkins scored the lone Moose goal while G Eric Comrie stopped 32 of 34 in a losing effort.

BIG CROWDS

Condorstown has flocked to Rabobank Arena this season as a combined crowd of 17,307 saw the team's past two outings. On the season, the team has averaged a crowd of 5,310 which is third in the Pacific Division.

GONE 'TIL NOVEMBER

LW Joe Gambardella and LW Tyler Benson tied for the team lead in scoring in the month of November with eight points each in 10 games. RW Cameron Hebig's five goals were most on the team. Three players (LW Evan Polei, D Ethan Bear, and RW Patrick Russell) tied for the team lead in plus/minus at +6. Overall, the Condors went 6-4-0-0 in the month.

CENTRAL SWING

The Condors host Manitoba for a pair of games against the Central Division before 13 straight in the Pacific Division. Bakersfield is 4-0-0 against the Central with two wins over Iowa and a win apiece against Texas and San Antonio.

CONDORS NOTES

RW Mitch Callahan scored his 99th career AHL goal in Thursday's game. He is one point shy of 200 for his AHL career as well... D William Lagesson fought for the first time this season on Thursday. It was the Condors eighth fighting major of the season... With an assist on Thursday, LW Tyler Benson pulled into a tie for the team lead with 15 points. He leads the team with 12 assists... The Condors are 5-0-0 when leading after two periods.

MOOSE NOTES

Manitoba is 5-0-0 when leading after two periods. They are also 6-2-1 in games tied after one period...Manitoba had a season-low 14 shots on goal last night... Four Moose players picked up fighting majors against San Diego... G Eric Comrie has started eight of the last nine games for Manitoba.
