Stockton Wins 4-2 on Harry Potter Sock Toss Night, Behind Josh Healey's First Pro Goal

Stockton, CA. - Stockton overcame an early lead thanks to Josh Healey's goal on Harry Potter Sock Toss Night to win 4-2 over the Ontario Reign. Ontario struck first 5:38 into the game and took a 1-0 lead heading into the second period. Josh Healey scored his first pro goal 2:16 into the second period and socks came raining down onto the ice. All socks will be donated to those in need through the Stockton Annual Coat, Blanket and Sock Drive run through Stockton Arena. Spencer Foo scored another second period goal for Stockton, and picked up his first multi-point effort since October 31. Kerby Rychel notched another game-winning goal on his team-leading eleventh marker of the season. Buddy Robinson added an empty netter late to give Stockton the 4-2 win over the Ontario Reign. Nick Schneider collected his sixth win of the season, stopping 27 of 29 shots, including 13 big stops in the final period. Stockton's penalty kill was strong once again tonight, stopping all three chances against. The Heat haven't surrendered a power play goal over the last two contests. Stockton kicked off their six-game home stand with a hard-fought win over a physical Ontario Reign team.

Stockton is back at it tomorrow night at home against the San Jose Barracuda for Hip Hop Night at 6 PM. All fans in attendance will receive a Straight Out of Stockton T-Shirt. Tomorrow is the sixth meeting between the two clubs this season, Stockton is just 1-4 in the five games.
