That's right! The next six Fisher Cats home games are chock full of excitement as your first-place Fisher Cats return home this weekend! We'll kick off the homestand with another spectacular Atlas FIREWORKS Show following the Friday, May 8 game, a 6:35pm start. Saturday, May 9, at 1:05pm, the first 1,000 kids into Merchantsauto.com Stadium will receive a cool jersey bag courtesy of NAPA Auto and Truck Parts of Epping.

The fun doesn't stop there. On Mother's Day, May 10th, at 1:05pm, Mom gets in FREE courtesy of Catholic Medical Center - and the first 1,000 Moms through the gates will receive a pink tote bag, courtesy of Catholic Medical Center! Mother's Day is also Breast Cancer Awareness Day!

Along with free tickets, Catholic Medical Center is also offering Fisher Cats Pink Totes to the first 1,000 mothers at the ballpark on Sunday, May 10!!! The Fisher Cats will also be clad in special pink jerseys on Mother's Day to pay tribute to Mom.

Moms also have the opportunity to the Run the Bases after the game, presented by the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission! The first 1,000 Moms will also be able to take advantage of 10% off coupons offered from Chill Day Spa.

The Hooksett PTA organized a field trip for last Thursday's EnergyNorth Propane Educational Day where students were able to come out to Merchantsauto.com Stadium with their families. The PTA's group tremendously enjoyed the Fisher Cats Entertainment Experience.

The Hooksett PTA's fundraising efforts will feature a Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 16 from 8-10am. The all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast is being held at the Applebee's on Hooksett Road in Hooksett. The tickets are just $5 and can be purchased at the door or by contacting Trisha Korkosz at (603) 540-6464 or tkorkosz@comcast.net. The money raised from the event will benefit playground improvements at the Fred C. Underhill School and the Memorial School.

The Fisher Cats have helped raise money for youth leagues and non-profit organizations through similar fundraising efforts. DOPIRAK BECOMING A FORCE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FISHER CATS LINEUP AND NAMED EL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dopirak55Fisher Cats 1B/DH Brian Dopirak was among the Eastern League leaders in a number of offensive categories over the last week and was named the Eastern League Player of the Week. Dopirak went 10-for-25 during the week for a .400 batting average with three home runs and eight RBI. Dopirak also recorded a .840 slugging percentage and notched five extra-base hits, and his offensive production has helped the Fisher Cats to first-place in the Northern Division!

Dopirak led the Blue Jays minor leagues last season in hits (151), total bases (273), home runs (29) and slugging percentage (.550). He has started off this season with a .330 batting average with five home runs and 17 RBI.

You can follow Dopirak and the rest of the Fisher Cats when they are on the road with the Fisher Cats Radio Network. All of the games can be heard on the flagship station, WGIR 610 AM, in Manchester. Network affiliates are WGIN 930 AM (Rochester), WSMN 1590 AM (Nashua), WEEY 93.5 FM (Keene), and WTSL 1400 AM/94.3 FM (Hanover).

FIRST EVER CHOWDER FEST COMING FRIDAY ChowderFest55

The inaugural Good Eats Chowder Fest will be held at Merchantsauto.com Stadium on Friday, May 8. The competition will open up at 5pm and will run until the chowder is gone!

Jillian's Billiards Club of Manchester, Weathervane Seafood Restaurant, J. Michael Family Sports Bar, Clam King and the Red Arrow make up the field for the inaugural event.
