Baysox To Wear Sunglasses At Night

BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox are ready to challenge the record books on I Wear My Sunglasses At Night Night Friday, May 29. The team will attempt the world record for most people wearing sunglasses at night in between innings when the Baysox take on the Harrisburg Senators at 7:05 p.m.
All fans participating in the event must register to make the attempt official. Registration is easy, as the team will have a registration table in front of the stadium before the game and one on each concourse during the game. The first 1,000 fans to register will receive one FREE pair of sunglasses!
The Baysox have a history of assaulting world records. From 2003-2005 the team set and attempted to break its own record for most people sitting on whoopee cushions at the same time. In 2006, fans tried to set the record for most people brushing their teeth at the same time. Two years ago, fans tried to set the record for most people yo-yoing at the same time, and last season the team attempted to have the most people playing the kazoo at the same time.
The Baysox 17th season as the class AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles is underway!
