Akron-Altoona Double Header Postponed

ALTOONA, Pa - Due to inclement weather, Wednesday's doubleheader between the Akron Aeros (AA - Cleveland Indians) and the Altoona Curve has been postponed.
The contest has been rescheduled to be played as part of a double-header TOMORROW (Thursday) May 7. The first game of the twin bill will begin at 10:35 a.m. Gates open at 9:30 a.m.
Another double header will be played when Akron returns to town on Saturday, May 16 with the first contest beginning at 5:05 p.m.
Any fans holding a ticket to Wednesday's game may exchange the ticket for any remaining 2009 Curve home game for equal or lesser value BASED ON AVAILABILITY.
Thursday will be a School Kid's Day presented by Mid-Atlantic Dairy. Fans can also enjoy great drink specials for Thirsty Thursday.
Great seats for Thursday's contests still remain an can be obtained by calling 877-99-CURVE, online at AltoonaCurve.com or in person at the Blair County Ballpark box office during normal business hours.
