Nedorost Reassigned to Syracuse

Syracuse, NY (November 19, 2002) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have reassigned left wing Andrej Nedorost to Syracuse. They also announced today that they have returned left wing Torrey DiRoberto to Dayton (ECHL). Nedorost, 22, has appeared in seven games with Syracuse this season, recording two goals, four assists and 10 penalty minutes. In four games with Columbus this season, Nedorost recorded one assist and two penalty minutes. A native of Trencin, Slovakia, Nedorost was Columbus' 10th pick, 286th overall, in the 2000 Entry Draft. DiRoberto, 24, has appeared in 13 games with Dayton this season, recording six goals, two assists and 12 penalty minutes. In two games with the Crunch, DiRoberto recorded two penalty minutes. A native of Utica, NY, DiRoberto signed an American Hockey League contract with Syracuse this off-season. The Crunch return home on Friday, November 22 to host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
