Flames Recall Mrozik from Saint John

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames Vice-President & General Manager Craig Button announced today defenceman Rick Mrozik has been recalled from the Saint John Flames of the American Hockey League.

Mrozik played in six games with Saint John this season posting eight penalty minutes and a +4 rating. In 286 AHL career games the 6'2" 214 lbs rearguard has collected 52 points (13 goals, 39 assists) and 176 penalty minutes. The Flames signed the Duluth, MN native as a free agent on August 6, 2001. Mrozik was the Dallas Stars' fourth choice, 136th overall, in the 1993 Entry Draft.
