
Nason And Welch Are Promoted

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have promoted Josh Nason to the club's Director of Ticket Sales and Market Development, Matt Welch to the club's Director of Corporate Partnerships, Steve Torrisi to the club's Ticket Operations Manager and Josh Massey to Account Executive, the team announced on Friday. The Monarchs also hired Christopher Kelley as the club's Assistant Equipment Manager and Susan Bowie as the club's Ticket Operations Coordinator. Nason, a native of Albany Township, Maine, is entering his fifth season with the Monarchs. His new role with the organization will involve overseeing the Monarchs sales staff, coordinating season ticket, group and individual ticket campaigns, along with seeking out ways to improve the team's product and overall fan experience.
Welch, a native of Manchester, New Hampshire, is responsible for all of the Monarchs sponsorship and party suite sales. A graduate of Ithaca College, Welch has been with the Monarchs since July of 2001. Prior to joining the Monarchs, Welch interned with the Fleet Center in the marketing and public relations department.
Torrisi, a native of Reading, Massachusetts, is in his second year with the Monarchs. Torrisi served as an Account Executive prior to moving up to Tickets Operations Manager. A Southern New Hampshire University graduate, Torrisi has worked for the Lowell Lock Monsters, the New England Revolution and the New England Patriots.
Massey, a native of Gardiner, Maine, has moved into the Account Executive position after spending a year as the Monarchs Pro Shop Assistant. Massey is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and is currently working on his MBA with a certificate in Sports Administration at SNHU.
Kelley, a native of Weymouth, Massachusetts, is entering his first professional season with the Monarchs. Kelley was the head student Equipment Manager for Merrimack College for five years and worked with the Lewiston Maniacs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League during their training camp in 2003.
Bowie, a native of New Boston, New Hampshire, is a recent graduate of the University of New Hampshire-Manchester. Prior to joining the Monarchs, Bowie worked as a ticket agent for the Verizon Wireless Arena.
