Peoria, IL - President and CEO Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen, proud new primary affiliate of the St. Louis Blues, announced today that the team, in association with Infinity Pro Sports, has re-designed and re-launched its Website, www.rivermen.net.

The site includes fresh new graphics and a Flash motion header. The header opens with cascading Rivermen and St. Louis Blues logos that eventually disappear to reveal a panoramic photo of the Carver Arena ice surface. Below a scrolling marquee that displays the latest team news and information, a row of navigational buttons stretches horizontally across the screen.

The "Team" section will continue to feature an in-depth summary paragraph about, statistical information for, and pictures of each player on the Rivermen roster. The "Team" section also features hockey and business operations staff photos and biographies. The "News" section will continue to feature up-to-the-minute Rivermen information, as well as an archive of past news stories.

In the "Fan Zone" section, fans can register to receive all out-going Rivermen information (player transactions and all other team news) via e-mail, watch and/or listen to Rivermen games live over the Internet, sign up for membership in the Rivermen Booster Club, and delve into the Rivermen Hall of Fame. In the "Multimedia" section, fans can download Rivermen wallpaper, screensavers, and eCards. They can also view the team photo gallery and links to the team's media outlets. In the "Community Relations" section, fans and organizations can request player appearances with a printable player appearance form after viewing the player appearance guidelines.

In the "Carver Arena" section, fans can access directions to Carver Arena, parking facilities information, and Carver Arena policies, as well as view a seating chart. In the "Affiliates" section, fans can learn more about Peoria's National Hockey League parent club, the St. Louis Blues, and the ECHL affiliate of the Rivermen, the Alaska Aces. In the "Partnerships" section, interested businesses can view information about corporate partnership opportunities with the Rivermen, and fans can look over the list of Rivermen corporate partners.
