National Anthem Casting Call Finalists To Appear on 93Q September 28

Syracuse, NY (September 23, 2005) - The Syracuse Crunch, along with 93Q, announced today the five National Anthem casting call finalists who will sing on the Ted and Amy show on 93Q on Wednesday, September 28 from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. for the opportunity to sing the National Anthem on Opening Night.

Fans will be able to listen and vote for their favorite choice on www.93Q.com (on the Ted and Amy page) until Monday, October 3. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, October 4 on the Ted and Amy Morning Show at 7:20 a.m. and will then make their debut at the Crunch's Express Mart Opening Night on October 8. The winner, along with the finalists will make up the Crunch's National Anthem singers list.

Catie Geroux

Megan Wiegand

Erin Myers

The Crunch open their 12th season on Saturday, October 8 against the Albany River Rats for Express Mart Opening Night. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a 32 ounce stadium cup, compliments of Express Mart. Tickets for all 2005-06 preseason and regular season home games can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, at the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial at Oncenter or by calling TicketMaster at (315) 472-0700.
