
Nailers Clinch Playoff Spot

WHEELING, WV - The Wheeling Nailers have clinched a spot in the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs today, as the Cincinnati Cyclones defeated the Toledo Walleye 4-3 in regulation at the Huntington Center this afternoon.
The Nailers grabbed five out of a possible six points on their recent road trip to Florida. Wheeling posted a 2-0-0-1 record in the three games, bumping their magic number down to two over Toledo heading into today's action. Despite the loss, Toledo can still clinch a playoff spot..

The Nailers who currenlty the fourth seed in the conference, travel to Reading to take on the Royals on Wednesday beginning at 7:00 p.m. Tune into The Mix 97.3 or online at www.wheelingnailers.com Fans may watch the game on RTV9.

The Nailers return home to WesBanco Arena to battle the Toledo Walleye on Thursday March 31 at 7:05 p.m. Thursday is College Night! $8 tickets to all college students with college ID. The game also features $1 hot dogs and special drink considerations through the 1st intermission. There will also be a free post game concert featuring Mace Ballard!
On Saturday April 2, the Nailers will wrap up their 2010-11 regular season against the Toeldo Walleye. It is Fan Appreciation Night with prizes being given away throughout the night. The game is also NFL Lockout Lallapalooza, fans may receive $5 off admission by wearing an NFL Jersey to the game. Game time is set for 7:35pm. Fans my purchase tickets to both games for just $25.
