BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors (40-25-2-1, 83pts) set records for most wins in a season at home, most wins in a row at home, and tied the record for most consecutive victories as they defeated the Las Vegas Wranglers (36-27-3-2, 77pts) 2-0 in front of 7,767 fans at Rabobank Arena Saturday night. The Condors extend their lead in the Pacific Division to three points over Stockton and six points over Vegas.

For the second straight night, D Tyler Gotto put the Condors up 1-0 in the opening period. RW Bobby Robins collected a rebound from a shot by D Evan Stoflet and found Gotto sneaking in from the left point. The Condors outshot the Wranglers 15-4 in the period.

The Condors increased their lead to 2-0 when C Adam Naglich found a rebound at the feet of Las Vegas G Michael Ouzas and slid it home. The goal came just 1:11 into the frame. Las Vegas had two good scoring chances towards the end of the middle stanza, but rang two shots off the iron.

The Condors held off the Wranglers in the third, killing off three penalties to earn their 11th straight victory. Brian Stewart stopped 20 shots over the final two periods to earn his first career shutout.
