Complete Game Notes

IN JUST A FEW HOURS...

The Elmira Jackals play their final home game of the 2010-2011 regular season as they host the Kalamazoo Wings today at 4:05 p.m. Last night, Kalamazoo scored four times in the third period to beat Elmira, 6-1. Today's game is Fan Appreciation Day at First Arena. Prior to the contest, the team will hold their annual awards ceremony and will name the 2010-2011 Elmira Jackals MVP.

PERRY PITCHES IN AGAIN

A.J. Perry scored his 20th goal of the season last night, his second-straight contest with a goal. His older brother, Corey Perry, scored both goals for Anaheim in a 2-1 Ducks victory over the Chicago Blackhawks later that evening.

JACKALS MAINTAIN SEVENTH

The Jackals held their spot in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings with 73 points despite last night's loss. The top eight teams reach the 2011 Kelly Cup Playoffs from the Eastern Conference. Elmira is three points ahead of ninth-place Toledo and six points in front of 10th-place Gwinnett.
