
Nailers Acquire Forward Poli from Gladiators

WHEELING, WV ¬" The Wheeling Nailers have acquired forward Chris Poli from the Gwinnett Gladiators in exchange for future considerations. The deal was announced on Thursday afternoon.
The 6-1, 210 pound Poli, bolsters the Nailers lineup up front. He has five points (3g, 2a) in 17 games this season with Gwinnett. He was over a point per game player last season with the Trenton Devils, posting 39 points (13g, 26a) in just 36 games played.
Poli played 11 games for Trenton in 2007-08, and 8 games in 2008-09. He was acquired by the Gladiators in a trade with the Trenton Devils on September 2, for future considerations.Prior to Trenton, the Medfield, Massachusetts native played four seasons at Brown University. He finished his collegiate career with 49 points.
