Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglersé are slated to hold Sing for Santa, D.A.R.E Night and the Teddy Bear Toss when they return home to face the Idaho Steelheads on December 10th and 11th.
The Wranglers have invited local elementary school choirs to join in their sixth annual Sing for Santa weekend. Students will sing classic Christmas carols during intermission for the games on Friday, December 10th, and Saturday, December 11th, against the Idaho Steelheads. The puck drops at 7:05 pm at the Orleans Arena.
In addition to Sing for Santa, the Wranglers will be highlighting the D.A.R.E. program on December 10th with current D.A.R.E. students receiving a free Wranglers ticket and accompanying parents receiving $10 fundraising tickets. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the local D.A.R.E. elementary program. D.A.R.E. Graduates may also present their D.A.R.E. Graduation Certificate to receive a free ticket and a $10 ticket for accompanying parents to the following games:
Jan. 14th vs. Ontario Jan 22nd vs. Bakersfield
Feb. 5th vs. Elmira Feb 13th vs. Victoria
Finally, the Wranglers will be hosting their eighth annual Teddy Bear Toss during the December 11th game versus the Idaho Steelheads. Fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears or other stuffed animals to throw on the ice after the Wranglers score their first goal of the night. All teddy bears will be donated to the Wranglers' Focus School, Sunrise Acres Elementary. Fans donating teddy bears will be entered into a drawing to receive a variety of gift certificates and other prizes.
The Las Vegas Wranglersé are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
2010-11 prorated season seat packages are on sale now at (702) 471-PUCK. The Wranglers play all 36 regular season home games at the Orleans Arena, located adjacent to the Orleans Hotel and Casino at 4500 W. Tropicana Avenue.
