Grizzlies Activate Kilburg, Sorteberg; Host Las Vegas

West Valley City, Utah - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley today announced that the team has activated defensemen Matt Sorteberg and Brian Kilburg who will make their season debuts tonight when Utah hosts Las Vegas at 7:05 p.m.

In addition, the team has also activated forward Michael Gergen and announced that defenseman Ric Jackman has accepted an offer to play in Europe.

"Ric was great for us while he waited for his next big opportunity," said Grizzlies Head Coach Kevin Colley. "We wish him all the best and thank him for all of his contributions."

Jackman left Utah with a bang after tallying four assists in Sunday's 7-3 win in Ontario. He totaled four goals and 10 assists for Utah in 16 games as he returned to the Grizzlies after playing here in 2000-2001 before logging nearly 250 games in the NHL and winning the 2007 Stanley Cup as a member of the Anaheim Ducks.

The Grizzlies host Las Vegas tonight at 7:05 p.m. and Ontario Friday and Saturday at 7:05 p.m. All weekend, fans can take advantage of 50-cent Hot Dogs and Corn Dogs, $1 Tacos and $2 Beers along with many other meal deals on the Maverik Center concourse.
