Stingrays Trade Connelly to Trenton

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that the team has traded goaltender Shane Connelly to the Trenton Devils in exchange for future considerations.

Connelly, 23, appeared in five games with the Stingrays going 0-4-1 with a 2.82 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage.

The Stingrays travel to The Arena at Gwinnett Center to battle the Gwinnett Gladiators on Friday, December 3 at 7:35 p.m. Tune in to Fox Sports 1450 for all the action. Celebrate the Stingrays' annual Teddy Bear Toss with Debi's Kids on Saturday, December 4 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum against the Greenville Road Warriors. Bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to throw on the ice after the Stingrays score their first goal!
