Mystics announce preseason schedule

Washington, D.C. -The Washington Mystics today released its preseason schedule for the 2007 season. The Mystics will play three games prior to the start of the regular season. Washington will play two games in Non-WNBA cities.

Washington will travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to face the Chicago Sky on Friday, May 4th at 7:00 pm CST at the Al McGuire Center. The Mystics will then travel to the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday, May 6th at 1:30 p.m. to play the 2006 WNBA Champions, the Detroit Shock.

The Mystics will return to Verizon Center on May 13th at 3:00 p.m. to host Israeli National Team, Anda Ramat Hasharon.

"We have set up a very competitive preseason schedule for our team," said General Manager Linda Hargrove. "We are excited about the opportunity to play in cities we never get to travel to. We are also looking forward to playing a very talented Israeli team at Verizon Center."

Tickets for the game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin are currently on sale and can be purchased by calling (414)288-GOMU. Ticket prices range from $10.00 to $15.00. Ticket information for the game in Columbus, Ohio will be announced at a later date.

Tickets for the Mystics home preseason will go on sale in April. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the Verizon Center Box Office or calling TicketMaster Phone Charge at (202) 397-SEAT.

The Mystics will tip off its tenth season on Saturday May 19th at 6:00 p.m. when the team hosts conference rival, Connecticut Sun.
