
Silver Stars accnounce 2007 preseason schedule

San Antonio Stars News Release
SAN ANTONIO, TX - The San Antonio Silver Stars will play preseason games in San Antonio, Omaha, Neb., and Wichita, Kan., the team announced today.
The Silver Stars tip off against Minnesota at Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kan., at 7 p.m., May 5 in a match-up that will reunite former Kansas State stars Nicole Ohlde and Kendra Wecker.
The Silver Stars wrap up the preseason with Detroit at 1:30 p.m. at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb., on May 13 and Connecticut at home at 7 p.m. on May 14.
San Antonio plays two of the seven WNBA preseason games that are in non-WNBA markets. Detroit and Houston are slated to play in Lubbock, Texas. Chicago and Washington will meet in Milwaukee and Minnesota will face the Los Angeles Sparks in Baton Rouge, La.
The Silver Stars open their 2007 regular season at Phoenix on May 19 before hosting Connecticut May 23 at the AT&T Center. Full season and partial ticket plans are available starting as low as $49. For more information on tickets, call 210.444.5090.
