
Mudcats Announce Northern Division Playoff Schedule

Carolina Mudcats News Release
One day after clinching its first divisional title since 2003, and the seventh in club history, the Carolina Mudcats have announced the Northern Division Championship Series (NDCS) schedule.
Tickets are now on sale for Carolina's NDCS home games, as part of the best-of-five series with first-half champion West Tenn. The Diamond Jaxx will host games one and two at Pringles Park in Jackson, TN on Wednesday, September 3rd at 8:05 PM ET and Thursday, September 4th at 8:05 PM ET, with an off day on Friday, September 5th.
Carolina will host the remaining games of the NDCS with Game 3 on Saturday, September 6th at 6:15 PM ET. If necessary, the Mudcats would host Game 4 on Sunday, September 7th at 2:00 PM ET and Game 5 on Monday, September 8th at 7:15 PM ET.

Carolina has won two Southern League championships in 1995 and 2003. The Mudcats last appeared in the playoffs in 2005, suffering a three-game sweep in the NDCS at the hands of the Diamond Jaxx.
First half champion Birmingham will host Games 1 and 2 against second half champ Mississippi in the Southern Division Championship Series. The winners of the two divisional championship series will meet in the best-of-five championship series.
The Southern League Championship Series is tentatively scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 10th, however dates and times are subject to change to accomodate potential travbel or weather circumstances, or should each the Northern and Southern Division series end early.
