Wellman Named Southern League Manager of the Year

Pearl, MS -- The Mississippi Braves are proud to announce that Manager Phillip Wellman was named the Southern League's Manager of the Year on Thursday. Wellman led the M-Braves from a 6-20 April to a second-half championship and the team's second straight playoff appearance.
He also led the M-Braves to the franchise's first winning season in over a decade.
