Monarchs Recall Taylor

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have recalled goaltender Daniel Taylor from the ECHL's Reading Royals, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.

Taylor, 21, has played in three games with the Royals this season and is unbeaten with a record of 3-0-0 with a 2.64 goals-against-average and a .917 save-percentage. The 5-foot-11, 186-pound native of Plymouth, England, split the 2006-07 season between the ECHL's Bakersfield Condors, Wheeling Nailers and Texas Wildcatters. In 20 games with the three teams, Taylor played 1105 minutes, registered a 7-10-1 record, a 4.13 goals-against-average and a .871 save-percentage.
