Worcester Sharks Games To Be Aired On Charter's Channel 3

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks President and CEO Michael T. Lehr announced today that the Worcester Sharks home game vs. the Manchester Monarchs on Friday, December 7th, at 7:05p.m. will be televised live on Charter's Channel 3. The televised game will be one of nine games this season aired live on Charter's Channel 3.

"The Worcester Sharks are pleased to have teamed up with Charter's Channel 3 once again this season," said Lehr. "Charter's Channel 3 will provide our fans with action packed Shark's hockey throughout the season from the comfort of their own homes."

Worcester Sharks Broadcaster Eric Lindquist will be joined by the Sports Director of Charter's Channel 3 Kevin Shea.

Kevin Shea is a 10-year veteran of the television station, which is based in Worcester, and owned by Charter Communications. Each weeknight, "Worcester News Tonight" viewers enjoy watching Kevin provide a variety of sports highlights and interviews focused on local schools and athletes. This includes the award-winning "Friday Night Football Frenzy Show" co-hosted by Kevin along with Andy Lacombe. Shea does play-by-play coverage of local high school and collegiate football and basketball games, plus Worcester Tornadoes baseball games.

The Sharks host two games this weekend at the DCU Center. On Friday, the Manchester Monarchs come to town at 7:05p.m. on "Karaoke Night." The Salter School of Massage Therapy will be offering free massages on the concourse during the game as well. The game will be televised live on Charter's Channel 3.

On Saturday, the Sharks host the Hartford Wolf Pack on "Teddy Bear Toss Night." Fans are encouraged to bring a new Teddy Bear to throw on the ice after the Sharks score their first goal of the hockey game. The Teddy Bears will be donated to Project Smile. Sharks players will sign autographs as part of "Saturday Night Signings."
