Edmonton Oilers Recall Reddox From Falcons

Springfield, MA - The Springfield Falcons, proud members of the American Hockey League, announced today that forward Liam Reddox has been recalled by their National Hockey League affiliate, the Edmonton Oilers. Reddox will join the Oilers in Edmonton for their game on Friday against the St. Louis Blues.

This is Reddox's second recall to the Oilers this season. The second-year pro has played in 22 games for the Falcons this season collecting six goals and 13 assists for 19 points. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound native of Whitby, Ontario is currently sixth in the AHL in rookie scoring and tallied his first career AHL goal on October 12 against the Portland Pirates. Reddox spent the entire 2006-07 campaign with the ECHL's Stockton Thunder.

The Falcons return to action on Friday, December 7 when they host the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the MassMutual Center starting at 7:30 pm. Springfield is currently in third place in the Atlantic Division with a record of 13-8-1-3 through 25 games.
