Monarchs Announce Player Transactions

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs head coach Richard Seeley has announced that the Monarchs have released four players from their training camp roster.

Forwards Dmitry Antipin and John McGinnis, along with defenseman Alex Baskakov were released from their try-out agreements, while defenseman Mark Adams was released and put on waivers.

With the moves, the team currently has 25 players in camp (13 forwards, 10 defensemen and two goaltenders).

The Monarchs will travel to face the Adirondack Thunder tonight (7 p.m.). The game will be played at the Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y. The Monarchs will return to Manchester to host Adirondack on Sunday (3:30 p.m.).

The game Sunday will be played at Sullivan Arena on the campus of Saint Anselm College (100 Saint Anselm Drive, Manchester, N.H. 03101). Ticket-package holders are allowed free admittance to get their first glimpse of the Monarchs, and all non-ticket package holders are asked to make a donation to the Monarchs Care Foundation for entrance.
