Militarty Appreciation Night Rescheduled To August 19

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have rescheduled Military Appreciation Night at Time Warner Cable Field to Thursday, August 19. The Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers are offering free admission to fans holding a Military ID, a group discounted rate to family members, and several military-themed displays. Game time is 7:05pm.
The original date for Military Appreciation Night was Wednesday, July 14, but that game was rained out.
The Army National Guard Recruiting Station of Appleton will bring out a vehicle and a climbing wall. Also, Fields of Honor in Oshkosh will bring up some of their military vehicles. The parking lot at Time Warner Cable Field will be open at 4:30pm for tailgating and to see the displays.
Thursday, August 19 is also a WIXX Thirsty Thursday with 22oz sodas and 16 oz beers available for $2.
Fans interested in attending Military Appreciation Night may purchase tickets one of two ways: Over the phone at either (800) WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152 or in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office. The free ticket offer for fans with a Military ID is not available online at www.timberrattlers.com.
